 TROOPS ARREST SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER, RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE ALONG BENIN–SAPELE ROAD Troops of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army, Operation WABAIZIGAN, have arrested a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a targeted operation along the Benin–Sapele Road in Ikpoba-Okha LGA of Edo State. The suspect, identified as Olamide Oyeniyi, was arrested on 12 September 2026 at Obaretin Community by troops conducting operations to disrupt criminal activities and safeguard major transportation routes within the area. Items recovered from the suspect include one AK-47 rifle, one magazine and eight rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition. Other items recovered are one Tecno mobile phone, two bags, one torchlight, one music box and assorted charms. PALESTINIANS ARE BANNED FROM JERUSALEM,FOLLOWING RECENT ATTACKS.

                              Today sunday,it was said by the Israeli policemen that the restrictions will be in place for two days,with only Israelis,tourists,residents of the area,business owners and students allowed.Israel took the step of barring Palestinians from Jerusalem following attacks that killed two Israelis and wounded a child.Worship at the sensitive Al-Aqsa mosque compound will be restricted to Old city residents and Arab Israelis ,and limited to men aged 50 and above.There will be no age restrictions on women.They will be allowed to enter through one specific gate.There was no immediate reaction from Palestinian officials.On saturday night,a Palestinian said an Islamist militant killed two Israeli men and wounded a woman and a toddler in a knife and gun attack in the Old city.Police shot dead the attacker.In a separate incident yesterday saturday,a Palestinian man stabbed a passerby in west Jerusalem before being shot dead by police while he was fleeing the scene.The victim was wounded.etc.
