  A 23-year-old Nigerian woman identified as Osarugbe, has died in Libya. African beauty products   She passed away at about 11:33am on Friday, April 4, 2025 after battling illness.    Anti-human trafficking advocate, Yakubu Oyiza and her team had been raising money to bring her back to Nigeria for better medical treatment as hospitals in Libya rejected her.    According to Oyiza, documents for burial, autopsy, and land to bury her in Libya have been arranged, all costing approximately 350,000.   She alleged that the family abandoned her since she fell sick and had earlier refused to go to Kano and pick her up the day she was supposed to be brought back to Nigeria.    In a Facebook post on Saturday, April 5, Oyiza revealed that some family members of the deceased called them asking for Osas’ properties. Image result for pictures of broken bottles                       On the 18th of September 2015 at about 11:30 am at their residence at Abesan Estate,Ipaja Lagos,a 35 year old man identified as Nelson Oamen,alleged to have killed his 75 year old father Sunday Ehiremen Oamen with a broken bottle.He appeared before an Ebute Metta Chief Magistrates court  where he was accused of committing patricide.It was alleged that he stabbed his father on the chest and stomach while the old man was asleep,with the a broken bottle.The plea of the accused person was not taken when the charge was read to him.The presiding Chief Magistrate ordered that the accused be remanded in prison custody for the first 30 days,while his case file should be forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecution,DPP for advice.The case was adjourned till 5th of November 2015.One more photo below.          Image result for pictures of broken bottles

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
