 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity.                       This woman above is identified as 27 old Tenisha Fearon and she accused of murdering her 6 month old baby girl by throwing her baby out from a six storey building in New York.Yesterday thursday responding officers rushed the 6 month old baby girl identified as Janillah Lawrence,to a nearby hospital,where she was pronounced dead at 2:28pm .Eye witness told NBC New York that Tenisha Fearon,was found naked and csreaming when officers arrived.She refused to answer the door and authorities ended up having to kick it down.Another witness said that Tenisha Fearon was screaming about the devil as police escorted her out.Officers described her as emotionally disturbed,and it was said that Tenisha Fearon purportedly dangled her child from the window in front of her neighbors before dropping her baby girl.Her neighbours were yelling at her not to throw her baby and that she should think about but neighbours said she was screaming ''We're all gonna die'' that was when they called 911.Authorities found three other children,a 4 year old girl,an 8 year old girl and a 10 year old boy inside her apart,along with another parent.The children were uninjured,but were taken to St Barnabas Hospital for a precautionary evaluation,but for Tenisha Fearon,she was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital for a mental evaluation.Though she has not yet entered a plea but she is being charged with second degree murder.More photos below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
