 LASG CONDUCTS CBT FOR GRADUATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME, REAFFIRMS MERIT-BASED YOUTH EMPOWERMENT The Lagos State Government has conducted a Computer-Based Test (CBT) for applicants of its Graduate Internship Placement Programme (GIPP), reaffirming its commitment to transparent and merit-driven youth empowerment. The CBT, organised by the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, was held at the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC) as part of the programme’s selection process, on Thursday, April 23, 2026,  A large number of qualified graduates participated in the exercise, which was conducted in an orderly and conducive environment. Speaking on the exercise, the Honourable Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Hon. Akinyemi Ajigbotafe, commended the peaceful conduct of candidates and reiterated the State Government’s resolve to expand sustainable employment opportunities for youths. SENATOR SARAKI & OTHERS,PAYS LATE HID AWOLOWO'S FAMILY A VISIT YESTERDAY.{PHOTOS}.

                      Few hours ago,the Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki posted on his official social media page that yesterday saturday he led some Senate to late HID's house.He said ''I led the Senate delegation to commiserate with the family of Mama HID Awolowo,the wife of the late Great sage of Nigeria,Chief Obafemi Awolowo.Our Senate delegation,which comprisedof Senators Shehu Sani,Lanre Tejuoso,Biodun Olujimi,Monsurat Sunmonu,and Gbolahan Dada was received by daughters of the deceased,Mrs Omotola Oyediran and Dr.Mrs Tokunbo Awolowo Dosunmu and other grand and great grand children of the deceased.Prayers were said by Bishop Ayo Fape.Our delegation also paid a courtesy visit to the state Governor,Senator Ibikunle Amosun in Abeokuta,to commiserate on the loss of Mama HID.In my remarks,i remembered Mama HID as a unique woman who held the forte and provided leadership in the absence of her husband for close to three decades-a feat never attended by any wife of a political leader in the country.I also remembered how the Ikenne home of Mama,during the last elections was a stopping point for all APC leaders,as her blessings and support in national elections was always critical.I also paid homage to Baba Awolowo,who has become a legend in the story of our nation,because his fight for the progress of the South West,and the country as a whole helped forge a stronger and more unified nation.Rest in Peace Mama.Thank you for your service to Nigeria''.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
