 LASEMA, OTHERS, INTENSIFY SAFETY OPERATIONS IN IKOLA COMMUNITY … Continues Controlled Demolition of Illegal Structures Under High-Tension Powerline The Lagos State Government, through the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), in close coordination with the Lagos State Police Command and the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), has intensified ongoing safety operations in the Ikola community to protect residents following recent communal tensions and the discovery of extensive informal settlements beneath high-tension electricity power lines. SOME NIGERIAN PAST LEADERS WERE ABSENT TODAY,AT PRESIDENT BUHARI'S FIRST COUNCIL MEETING.

                     Today wednesday President Muhammadu Buhari presided over his first Council of State meeting since his inauguration May 29.Former Presidents like Shehu Shagari,Olusegun Obasanjo ,Senator Saraki and Goodluck Jonathan were absent when the meeting started around 11:10am.The former leaders in attendance are Gen.Yakubu Gowon {rtd},Gen.Ibrahim Babangida {rtd},Gen.Abdusalami Abubakar {rtd} and Chief Ernest Shonekan.Pressmen at the event that is still on going said some state governors,deputy governors and other top government officials also attended the meeting,which was still in progress at the time of filling this report.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
