80% OF THE NYSC POSTED TO SOKOTO STATE,WERE POSTED TO SCHOOLS.

               According to the Coordinator of the National Youths Service Corps {NYSC} in Sokoto State,Mr Thomas Yamma,said more than 80 percent of the 2,371 corps members deployed to the state were posted to schools to teach as part of their primary assignment.He made this disclosure at Wamakko,headquarters of Wamakko Local Government Area of Sokoto state during the closing ceremony of the three week orientation exercise for corps members.The coordinator said ''Majority of the corps members deployed to Sokoto state were specifically posted to secondary schools across the 23 local government areas of the state to teach.The logic of this gesture is to help in the ongoing efforts to revamp the educational sector''.One more photo below.
