 Alex Cora fired as Red Sox manager amid last-place AL East slump, Chad Tracy named interim replacement     Alex Cora has been fired as manager of the Boston Red Sox as the team sits in last place in the American League East, ending a turbulent second tenure that followed both historic success and years of roster turnover. Cora, who played on Boston’s 2007 World Series championship team and later guided the club to a franchise-record 108 wins and a title in 2018, will be replaced on an interim basis by Chad Tracy, who had been managing the team’s Triple-A affiliate in Worcester. The organization also announced several changes to the major league coaching staff, including departures of multiple assistants and coordinators, as part of a broader shakeup. ELDER ORUBEBE,ARRAIGNED TODAY BY THE CCT FOR FALSE DECLARATION OF ASSETS & BRIBE.

               Today monday Elder Godsday Orubebe was arraigned by the Code of Conduct Tribunak {CCT} on a four count charge of false declaration of assets and acceptance of about N70 Million bribe.Orubebe who was a former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs,entered the courtroom few minutes to  11:am and he was ordered to enter the dock by the Chairman of the tribunal Justice Danladi Umar.The court said Orubebe while serving as a minister on or about June 29,2011 did make a false declaration in his declaration form.Then around September 19,2012 asked  for and accepted the sum of fifty million naira from one Pastor {Dr} Jonathan,as bribe for the contract  awarded in favour of his company,Chemtronics Nigeria Limited.Then aroundd  twenty thirteen still as a minister,he asked for and accepted the sum of twenty million naira from one Pastor {Dr} Jonathan Alota as additional bribe for the contract awarded in favour of his company Chemtronics Nigeria Limited ffor the aquisition Centre at Edo state for the sum of one billion naira eighty eight kobo {N1,799,914,251.88k}Orubebe pleaded not guilty to all the charges brought against him.The case was adjourned to 26th November 2015 for hearing.
