 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable.                32 year old Gabourey Sidibe came under fire by her fans after she appeared in a love scene during Wednesday's episode of Empire.But after the episode aired,Gabourey found herself to be the subject of cruel taunts online,and one social media user even created a memee that used a screen shot of the love scene next to the words ''Damn,some of you people can't even get a text back''.On thursday Gabourey Sidibe responded to her critics by writing ''I,a plus sized,dark skinned woman,had a love scene on primetime television.I had the most fun ever filming that scene even though i was nervous .But i felt sexy and beautiful and i felt like i was doing a good job''.More photos below.               Mean-spirited memes: After the airing of the episode, cruel comments and memes appeared online showing Gabourey in her sex scene with Mo McRae's character
