Yemen fighting pushes nearly 3,000 to Djibouti in less than a week: UN    Nearly 3,000 people have fled Yemen for Djibouti in less than a week as escalating violence drives growing displacement within the country and across its borders, the UN refugee agency said Friday. “Refugees continue to arrive by boat through Obock, Khor Angar, Moulhoule and Godoria after difficult journeys in small vessels,” UNHCR representative in Djibouti Sandrine Desamours told reporters in Geneva, Anadolu Agency reported. More than half of those crossing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait are women and children, while some families have been displaced for a second time after previously fleeing Yemen during the 2015 crisis and later returning. UNHCR is preparing for at least 10,000 new arrivals but warned that capacity is rapidly diminishing.                         A statement issued by Mr Haruna Imrana,Director of Communications in the office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation,yesterday tuesday in Abuja,warned the general public that the account was false and dubious.It said that the Facebook account was created in the name of the Acting Head of the Federal Civil Service of the Federation,Mrs Winifrs=ed Oyo-Ita.''The general public is hereby warned that the so called facebook account is false and dubious.The acting Head of the Civil Service has no such account.The office of the Head of Service does not advertise vacancies for employment as dubiously stated on the page''.The statement maintained that the account was a scam created by fraudsters to mislead and dupe the innocent job-seeking public.The statement therefore warned that the general public to disregard the Facebook account and any information it may carry.Anyone who engages in any form of dialogue or transaction with persons on the account,does so at his own risk.One more photo below.                                                                             B
