 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. INEC DECLARES KOGI STATE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION,INCONCLUSIVE TODAY.

                    Today sunday,INEC {Independent National Electoral Commission} declared the governorship election held in Kogi state yesterday saturday as inconclusive.The Chief Returning Officer for the election,Prof.Emmanuel Kucha,who announced the results,said Audu had 240,867 votes,while the incumbent governor,Idris Wada scored 199,514.The difference between the two Major candidate was 41,353 votes.While announcing the INEC's decision on the poll,the returning officer quoted a relevant section of the Electoral Act,saying since the total number of cancelled vote exceeded the difference in votes between the two major candidates,the commission will order a supplementary poll in the affected areas.The total number of cancelled votes was 49,953.In the election,the APC candidate/defeated Wada in 16of the 21 local government areas in the  state.One more photo below.
