 Two APC aspirants withdraw from Anambra Gov primary election Ahead of the primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra scheduled for tomorrow, two of the aspirants have withdrawn from the race Sir Paul Chukwuma from Umueri, Anambra North and Chukwuma Umeoji from Aguata withdrew from contest on Friday. Chukwuma, who was one of the leading contenders for the APC ticket, proceeded to resign from the party He told party members that he will keep supporting President Bola Tinubu in the Renewed Hope Agenda in repositioning Anambra, despite leaving the party According to him: ” Mr President is not the problem of APC, but some of the unprogressive elements who don’t want the party to move forward. “I’ve resigned from the party by tendering my letter to the ward chairman of the party. KANO STATE SENATOR ''SHEHU SANI'',DASHED OUT A THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED JAMB FORMS TODAY.

               Today sunday,the Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District and Chairman Senate Committee on Local and Foreign debt,Senator Shehu Sani handed over free JAMB registration forms to one thousand two hundred students in the state.The first phase of the beneficiaries were selected from Kawo Hayin Banki,Kakuri,Ungwar Shanu,Ungwar Muazu,Tudun-Nupawa,Zango,Tudun-Wada,Ungwar Sanusi,Kinkinau,Badarawa and Ungwar Kagi.Addressing the beneficiaries at his Tudun-Wada campaign office during the presentation of the Free JAMB forms,Senator Sani said the decision to pay the registration fees was to encourage children of the poor to attain higher education.According to him,education unarguably is the power and it is only with sound education that any individual can be independent minded,acquire knowledge to break shackles of poverty as well as become self-reliant.He also Identified education as the panacea for addressing societal ills such as Boko Haram insurgency,armed robbery,prostitution and other degrading jobs.''I don't believe it is fair to get a job for a secondary leaver when we as leaders can support them to advance educationally''.Though Senator Sani admitted that the number of sponsored students is inadequate,he promised to improve on the number before the registration closes.One more photo below.
