 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. SUPREME COURT PICKS THURSDAY,FOR SENATOR BUKOLA SARAKI'S HEARING.

                    The Supreme Court decision to hear the appeal this week was contained in the hearing notices sent to parties in the case today.Senator Saraki is challenging the decision of the Code of Conduct Tribunal {CCT} to assume jurisdiction over the false asset declaration charges brought against him by the Code of Conduct Burea {CCB}.The Court of Appeal,in a split decision of two to one upheld that the CCT's jurisdiction to hear the charges,a decision Saraki appealed at the Supreme Court.The Supreme Court had on November twelve directed the CCT to suspend proceedings in the trial pending the determination of the appeal.So now the Supreme Court has picked this week thursday for the hearing on the appeal.One more photo below.
