 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. Zainab Usman                      Today friday one of the candidate {Zainab Usman}that is to context for Governor under African Democratic Congress {ADC} tomorrow saturday in Kogi state,has withdrawn from the race at the last minute.Usman who is the only female in the race,is stepping down and pitching her tent with the candidate of the All Progressives Congress {APC} Prince Abubakar Audu,according to a statement she signed today friday.She said she decided to step down for Audu because he is the only candidate that can take the state to the promise land.''I decided to dump my ambition and support Audu to move the state forward and continue from where he stopped in 2003.I have thus directed all my supporters to go out and vote en mass for the APC and Prince Audu tomorrow''.
