 Edo State Governor Clashes with PDP Over Support for President Tinubu Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has strongly criticized the state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for misrepresenting his support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration. In a statement issued on Saturday by his Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, the governor dismissed the PDP’s claims as “weak” and unfounded. The controversy arose after Okpebholo, while hosting 17 acting chairmen from Edo’s 18 local government areas who recently defected from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027. He praised Tinubu’s leadership, particularly the removal of the fuel subsidy, a move he said previous administrations avoided despite its potential to drive national development.                                                             I still can't believe people still attend churches where they will be molested all in the name of deliverance and miracles.Like seriously if i were to be stepped on with those shoes of the pastor,i must scream as if i am possessed because it will be so painful.Well i am not advising anybody not to attend the church,but i believe there should be limit to everything,especially when you are faced with assaults like the one i am seeing in the pictures. I  can't see someone being molested and don't say something.What do you think?.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
