 PRESS RELEASE NAF SUSTAINS HIGH-TEMPO AIR OPERATIONS, DESTROYS TERRORIST HIDEOUTS IN SOUTHERN TUMBUNS The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), through the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI, sustained operational pressure on terrorist elements with a precision air interdiction mission conducted on 24 April 2026 at about 1850 hours over Ali Sheriffti, a known terrorist enclave in the Southern Tumbuns. Acting on credible intelligence of terrorist activity, NAF air assets conducted a focused surveillance sweep, during which several insurgents were sighted moving along concealed tracks. The targets were trailed to structures hidden under dense foliage, confirming deliberate attempts at concealment. Following positive identification, the NAF executed a precise strike, engaging the structures with onboard munitions. 246 STUDENTS,AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP BY THE UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN.

                        According to the University of Ilorin Bullein issued today wednesday,it states that the Senate of the University has awarded scholarships to 246 students during the 2014/2015 academic session and the gesture was in recognition of the students brilliant academic performances at their various levels across all faculties of the university.The bulletin stated the breakdown of the awards in which 12 students from the Faculty of Agriculture,32 students from the Faculty of Arts,14 from the Faculty of Basic Medical Science and six from the Faculty of Clinical Science.16 from the Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences,37 from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.Gurther breakdown showed that one student from the faculty of Environmental Sciences,13 students from the Faculty of Law,16 from the Faculty of Life Sciences,12 from the Faculty of Management Sciences and six from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences,among others.The bulletin state that the Vice-Chancellor,Prof.Abdul-Ganiyu Ambali,noted that the scholarship award was ''Basically to reward hard work and to serve as morale booster for the recipients while it will further motivate and encourage other students to strive hard to attain that great height''.He further commended the University scholars and advised other students to attach seriousness to their studies for them to be recipients of the award in the 2015/2016 academic session.One more photo below.                                                                                                      UNILORIN awards scholarship to 246 students
