 Over 25 million phones stolen in one year – FG The Crime Experience and Security Perception Survey report of the National Bureau of Statistics, a Federal Government agency, shows that Nigeria recorded 25.35 million phone theft cases between May 2023 and April 2024. According to the report, this was the most common type of crime within the period under review. The report read, “The number of crimes experienced by individuals in Nigeria was analysed over a period of time. The results show that theft of phones (25,354,417) was the most common crime experienced by individuals, followed by consumer fraud (12,107,210) and assault (8,453,258). However, hijacking of cars (333,349) was the least crime experienced by individuals within the reference period.” It also noted that most phone theft cases occurred either at home or in a public place, and about 90 per cent of such cases were reported to the police. A BLOG FAN ''OLUSOJI'',IS WARNING AGAINST A TRAGEDY THAT IS TICKING TO HAPPEN.

                                             I received a mail from one of my blog fan identified as Akinrinola Jab'erjawzz Olusoji,he sent in a lot of pictures with the caption ''The craze for money without thinking of the safety of our fellow human's well being.I just boarded a bus from Costain bus stop heading to Ajegunle Lagos.Right in the bus just in front of where i sat was this damaged area in the bus which was supposed to cover the right rear tyre totally exposed.Please Nigerians,imagine what will happen in the typical night rush if someone's foot should slide into the damaged area as the bus is on the move,or if the damaged area when stepped upon should puncture the tyre along the container,tanker a heavy truck infested Ijora Apapa route.I got down and couldn't locate any police officer in site.Please broadcast let's safe a leg,life or lives,because this a tragedy that is ticking to happen''..  I replied  his mail and from our chat i discovered that he was a passenger inside the bus and he even confronted the conducted yesterday inside the bus and the conductor said he should mind his business not knowing that Olusoji is also trying to save his life too.See how ignorance can kill somebody.What do you think?,and more photos below.
