 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. A MAN WAS ELECTROCUTED TO DEATH TODAY IN KADUNA STATE.

            Today sunday morning according to the NAN an unidentified middle age ma was electrocuted while he was trying to steal electric cable at a power supply installation in Kaduna.The incident happened at Accra Crescent by LEA Primary school,Unguwar Rimi.The raditional ruler of the area,Dan Iyar Unguwar Rimi,Alhaji Muhammad Gidado,confirmed the incident and he said the corpse of the vandal was evacuatd from the scene by the police from Unguwar Rimi division.According to him,the vandal was unknown to them in the area and urged law enforcement agencies to step up patrol as the community has suffered from the activities of vandals lately.He explaind that the deceased tried to steal the 150mm four core up riser cable at the distribution sub-station along Accra crescent when nemesis caught up with him.The police said they are investigating the incident with a view to arresting the collaborators of the act and preventing reoccurrence.One more photo below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
