 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. ANYBODY PREACHING VIOLENCE TO REALIZE BIAFRA,IS A DAY DREAMER-UWAZURUIKE.

                  According to AIT TV,he made the announcement yesterday sunday while addressing newsmen at the Ikemba Ojukwu Memorial Library in Oweri.Uwazuruike said ''MASOB was not in any way involved in that demonstration but the only difference was that the former MASSOB Director of Information Uchenna Madu who had been expelled was their spokesman and we sincerely sympathize with the families of those who lost their lives and who were in one way or the other affected in that exercise.It is our obligation to offer this unreserved apology because we were the first to speak of Biafra in Nigeria in 1999''.Uwazuruike who had earlier addresses a crowd of MASSOB supporters explained that the change in name became necessary following the strange introduction of violence in the struggle to actualize the Sovereign State of Biafra by a faction allegedly sympathetic to Nnamdi Kanu of Radio Biafra,London.''If you block roads,impede free flow of traffic and force traders to close markets,you are violent and all these are against the non-violence principle of MASSOB''.Uwazuruike made it abundantly clear that Biafra could not be realized through violence and that the South-East is land-locked with no neighbouring countries for possible assistance when it matters most,stressing that anybody preaching violence to realize Biafra is a day dreamer.One more photo below.

    The south east should forget about biafra until they are able to speak with one voice.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
