Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court.                                                                Yesterday saturday a witness said 26 year old Nancy Keme Dickson,who is the younger sister to the Bayelsa state governor,Governor Henry Dickson was kidnapped at her shop on Okaka road,Yenagoa,the state capital at about 2:50pm by the abductors who drove a Lexus SUV.The belief was that the abductors may have carried out surveillance on her movements before they struck.The Police Public Relations Officer {PPRO},Asinim Butswat,confirmed the abduction of Nancy by saying in a statement that  ''On the 19 December,2015 at about 1450hrs,four unknown gunmen in an ash coloured Lexus Jeep,trailed one Nancy Keme Dicknson,26 yrs to her shop at Okaka road,Yenagoa,and abducted her and her sales girl to an unknown destination.The Command immediately embarked on a Stop and Serch/Cordon Operations in a bid to rescue the victims and aprehend the perpetrators.Efforts have been intensified to arrest the abductors.Investigation is ongoing''.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
