  Oshiomhole Convinced Us To Make Obaseki Governor – Philip Shaibu Philip Shaibu, the former Deputy Governor of Edo State, has disclosed that his choice to support his former boss, Godwin Obaseki, stemmed from his respect for Adams Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to Naija News, Shaibu shared his doubts about Obaseki during an interview on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm program on Tuesday. Shaibu admitted that he lacked confidence in Obaseki's leadership even before they took office on November 12, 2016. He explained that despite his initial hesitations, he ultimately backed Obaseki out of respect and based on the assurances provided by Oshiomhole. He stated, “Obaseki is not a politician. We made him governor because Oshiomhole persuaded us. BILL COSBY CHARGED WITH FELONY SEXUAL ASSAULT IN PENNYSYLVANIA.

                       Today wednesday a Pennsylvania prosecutor said that ,Hollywood actor and stand up Comedian star Bill Cosby has been chargedwith felony,sexual assault over an incident in 2004 at his Philadelphia area mansion,in the first criminal case involving the comedian after years of mounting accusations.Charges were brought against the 78 year old,who allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted a woman,just before the statute of limitations in the case,ran out in January.An arrest warrant was issued for Cosby,Montgomery County First Assistant DistrictAttorney Kevin R.Steele told a news conference.Steele said ''Today after examination of all the evidence,we are able to seek justice on behalf of the victim''.Cosby has been charged with aggravated indecent assault,which is a felony in the first degree.According to an affidavit,the victim was a guest of Cosby at his home in Cheltenham one evening in January 2004 when he gave her wine and urged her to take three blue pills,prosecutors said in a statement.''Shortly thereafter,the victim became incapacitated and Cosby led her to a couch.The victim lay down... and Cosby positioned himself behind her.Cosby then fondled the victim's breasts,put his hands inside her pants,and penetrated her vagina with his fingers.The victim did not consent to any of these acts and reported that she was unable to move or speak and felt frozen and paralyzed''.Steel said new information came to light this year in the case,and that the victim was willing to cooperate.Earlier this month,Cosby sued seven of his accusers,saying the women who said they were assaulted were lying and had defamed his honorable legacy and reputation''.One more photo below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
