 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. BURUNDI PRESIDENT 'NKURUNZIZA',THREATENS TODAY TO FIGHT AU PEACEKEEPERS IMPOSED ON HIS COUNTRY.

                  Today wednesday,Burundi's President Pierre Nkurunziza threatened to fight any African Union peacekeepers imposed on his country,in his most confrontational comments yet mounting political crisis according to Reuters.Nkurunziza said in comments broadcast on their state radio that ''Everyone has to respect Burundi borders,.In case they violate those principles,they will have attacked the country and every Burudian will stand up and fight against them..The country will have been attacked and it will respond''.Other government officials have already said any peacekeepers arriving without Burudi's permission would violate it's sovereignty.The African Union said this month of December that it was ready to send 5,000 peacekeepers to protect civilians caught up in months of violence in Burundi,invoking for the first time powers to intervene in a members state against its will.One more photo below.
