 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. ABORTION CAN LEAD TO CANCER-F.A.C.H.

                  According to the President of the Foundation for Africa Cultural Heritage FACH Dr Nkechi Asogwa,she warned that abortion can lead to breast cancer in women.She said many cases of breast cancer can be linked to the aftermath of an abortion,done by a lady or a woman.In her own words she said ''When you terminate a pregnancy you end many on going process in the body,such as the preparation of the breast for the secretion of milk.So the tissues that were cut off suddenly would become fragile and they can trigger the information of cancerous cells in the breast.There are about five health implications attached to most of these drugs and that was why they were banned in the west,but here in Nigeria,no one is asking questions''.If you ask me,consult your doctor for any further details concerning these new research,that relates abortion to cancer.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
