 Judge rejects Amy Winehouse's father’s lawsuit over sale of singer’s personal items  A London judge has ruled against Mitch Winehouse in a legal dispute over the sale of personal belongings once owned by his late daughter, singer Amy Winehouse. Mitch Winehouse, who serves as the administrator of the singer’s estate, brought the case against Naomi Parry and Catriona Gourlay, alleging they improperly profited from the sale of her memorabilia. He claimed the pair had no right to sell the items and did so without his knowledge, arguing they should not have benefited from the auctions. Amy Winehouse died in 2011 at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning at her home in London, bringing an end to a career that made her one of the most recognizable voices of her generation. The dispute centered on roughly 150 personal items, including clothing, accessories, and stage pieces such as dresses, shoes, scarves, earrings, and handbags. A SECURITY GUARD WAS ARRESTED FOR STEALING,FROM HIS EMPLOYER IN LAGOS.

                    A 27 year old security guard identified as Philip Adeleke from Saki in Oyo state,was accused by the police in Lagos state of stealing several engineering equipment worth N820,000 from his employer's store.He was arraigned today monday at an Igbosere Magistrates Court in Lagos on a two count charge of breaking and entering and stealing.Prosecuting Sergeant Nicholas Akpene standing in for Sergeant Babatope Julius told the court that the defendant who came to Lagos in 2008,was employed as a guard at a construction site at Ikate Elegushi when he allegedly committed the offences.He further alleged that on December 28,2015 the defendant ,broke into a store at the site and stole a 7.5 KVA KIPOR generator,Steel Scaffold,Acro props pipes and a pumping machine all valued at N820,000,property of one Charles Iwobho.However,the defendant denied both charges and was granted bail of N100,000 with two sureties in the like sum.The case was adjourned till January 19,2016.
