 PRESS RELEASE OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. Alert security personnel immediately engaged the terrorists with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, effectively stalling their advance with Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately reinforcing the school. EFCC ARRAIGNED OLISA METUH BEFORE THE F.H.C TODAY,FOR DESTRUCTION OF EVIDENCE.

                      Today thursday,the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission {EFCC} arraigned the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party {PDP},Olisa Metuh,before the Federal Capital Territory High Court,Abuja,over destruction of evidence in his criminal case.Metuh who is also standing trial for his alleged involvement in the diversion of arms procurement funds,reportedly destroyed the statement he wrote to EFCC operatives during investigation.The PDP spokesman,however pleaded not guilty to the two count charge filed against him./Metuh who was granted bail by a judge at the Federal High Court,Abuja on tuesday is still in prison following his inability to perfect the bail conditions.According to sources,the presiding judge in the fresh case,Justice Ishaq Bello,adjourned the matter till next monday.One more photo below.
