 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion. KANO PILLARS FOOTBALL CLUB,SACKED 10 PLAYERS.

             Idris Malikawa,Media Officer of the Club {Kanu Pillars Football Club} made this known in an interview with NAN on Tuesday in Kano.Malikawa said the 10 player were sacked based on medical ground and poor performance.''The management of the club felt the only way to make headway in the plan to have a goodseason in the NPFL is to weed out 10 aged and unproductive players.This is to make way for new boys that will strengthen the team''.He said the team had already resumed training ahead of this year's campaign,assuring that transfer formalities would be completed on time.He further said that the club would recruit new players to beef up the team in some critical areas''.One more photo below.
