 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. KOGI POLICE PATROL YESTERDAY RECOVERED ARMS FROM A CAR+PHOTOS FROM LAI MOHAMMED'S VISIT TO POLICE HEADQUARTERS.

               Yesterday monday the Nigerian Police at about 6:pm in Kogi state,Police patrol team while returning to base from day duty highway patrol,on reaching Oziokutu in Adavi Local Government Area stopped and searched an ash coloured Nissan Almera car with Registration number.Kogi LKJ 01 MW.The four {4} occupants of the vehicle suddenly stopped the vehicle and ran away when they saw the police vehicle approaching.The police recovered from the abandoned vehicles area one {1} AK-47 rifle with breech No.56-2.400577 with three {3} rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition,one {1} pump action gun with four {4} live cartridges and four {4} black masks.Recovered items were taken to the Police Station and the case is still under investigation.The Minister of Infformation Alhaji Lai Mohammed pays Police Force Headquarters in Abuja a visit today tuesday.More photos below.
