 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. THE ITALIAN NAVY,RESCUED 290 MIGRANTS & RECOVERED 6 DEAD BODIES TODAY FROM A RUBBER BOAT.

                    Today thursday,a spokesman said Italy's navy rescued 290 migrants and recovered six bodies from the water near a half-sunken rubber boat.The navy rescued 109 migrants from a large rubber boat in the morning,and then 107 from a second boat a few hours later.When the navy arrived at a third rubber craft,it was sinking.They managed to pull 74 to safety,but six bodies were recovered from the water.A navy helicopter is continuing to search for survivors.The seas route to Italy from Africa is the most dangerous border for migrants in the world.The sea route to Italy from  Africa is the most dangerous border for migrants in the world.Of the more than 3,700 migrant deaths in the Mediterranean in 2015,about 2,000 perished on the way to Italy from North Africa.One more photo below.
