 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion. A PLANE CARRYING A DEAD BODY AND MILLIONS OF SOUTH AFRICAN RAND,SEIzED IN zIMBABWE.

cargo planer                          According to CCTV,zimbabwe has seized a plane with millions of South African rand after a dead body was discovered on board.Their Civil Aviation Authority stated that the matter is now being investigated by the police,however added that the Plane owned to the Western Global Airlines,in Florida,United States belonged to the South African Reserve Bank.Pradeep Maharaji,a senior official at the Reserve bank said that ''The South African Reserve Bank {SARB} is aware of an aircraft carrying a SARB consignment that stopped in Harare and was detained following the discovery of an unidentified body that is presumed to be a stowaway on the aircraft''.According to Maharaj,the Reserve Bank is working with zimbabwe authorities to have the cargo released and transported to South Africa.zthe plane was en route to South Africa from Germany before requesting for permission to refuel at zimbabwe's Harare International Airport.One more photo below.
