Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. According to sources,a Deputy Superintendent of Police {DSP} attached to the Ado Odo Divisional Headquarters Ogun state,Mr.Bolade Agboola,slumped and died during a fitness exercise today friday.Agboola,who until his death was the Divisional Crime Officer {DCO} of the station,was said to have gone to a nearby Alamuwa Secondary School compound to join others in physical exercise when he collapsed and passed out.He was rushed to a private hospital where he was confirmed dead by doctors.The deceased,according to close sources,was said to have returned from his home-town in Ekiti State a few days ago after a brief illness.He was said to have been advised by doctors to engage in fitness exercise.The body of the police officer has since been deposited in the mortuary.Another source said ''The incident happened at about 7:50 am yesterday when Agoola went to Alamuwa Secondary School to exercise his body.He met a group of local footballers there and joined them in fitness training during which he suddenly slumped and could not be revived''.One more photo below.
