 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion.                     According to sources,Taylor Swift will be opening the 58th Annual Grammy Awards on February 15 in Los Angeles.According to Daily mail,the Recording Industry Association of America first revealed that the singer will be hitting the stage on their official Twitter page on sunday.''I's true,Taylor Swift will return to the Grammy stage for a perfomance at the 58th Grammys!''.USA Today has now revealed that the singer will be the show's opening act,with her first song thought to be from her album 1989.Taylor Swift us nominated fr seven Grammy Awards,including the coveted Album of The Year as well as Besr Pop Vocal Album for 1989.Her hit,Blank Space,is nominated for both Record of The Year and Song of The Year.The Last time Taylor performed at the awards show was in 2014,singing her hit,All Too Well,from her Red album.Last week,the Grammys revealed additional perfprmers including Rihanna as well as Justin Bieber,who will be performing ''Where Are U Now'' with Skrillex and Diplo.More photos below.
