 A Mother's Day Nightmare in Princeton, Illinois. A 3-year-old boy was struck by gunfire as police burst into a barricaded room, ending a frightening hostage situation. Multiple agencies responded to the Hummingbird Mobile Home Park in Princeton, Illinois, on Sunday, May 10th at 2:42 a.m. The initial call went out as a domestic disturbance but officers discovered much worse.  42-year-old, Anthony Rodriguez, had barricaded himself in a room armed with a knife. Anthony had taken several people as hostages, including Aurora Almanza and her 3-year-old son.  Multiple agencies were on the scene, including the Bureau County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police and  the Princeton Police Department.  Authorities attempted to negotiate but ultimately rushed the room when they heard screaming coming from inside.  Officials have reported that officers fired shots as they entered the room.                     According to sources,Taylor Swift will be opening the 58th Annual Grammy Awards on February 15 in Los Angeles.According to Daily mail,the Recording Industry Association of America first revealed that the singer will be hitting the stage on their official Twitter page on sunday.''I's true,Taylor Swift will return to the Grammy stage for a perfomance at the 58th Grammys!''.USA Today has now revealed that the singer will be the show's opening act,with her first song thought to be from her album 1989.Taylor Swift us nominated fr seven Grammy Awards,including the coveted Album of The Year as well as Besr Pop Vocal Album for 1989.Her hit,Blank Space,is nominated for both Record of The Year and Song of The Year.The Last time Taylor performed at the awards show was in 2014,singing her hit,All Too Well,from her Red album.Last week,the Grammys revealed additional perfprmers including Rihanna as well as Justin Bieber,who will be performing ''Where Are U Now'' with Skrillex and Diplo.More photos below.
