In a blog post that has now been published by many international media organisations, in an apparent well-coordinated public relations effort, Binance Chief Executive Officer Richard Teng made false allegations of bribery against unidentified Nigerian government officials who he claimed demanded $150m in cryptocurrency payments to resolve the ongoing criminal investigation against the company.  This claim by Binance CEO lacks any iota of substance. It is nothing but a diversionary tactic and an attempted act of blackmail by a company desperate to obfuscate the grievous criminal charges it is facing in Nigeria.                     According to sources,Taylor Swift will be opening the 58th Annual Grammy Awards on February 15 in Los Angeles.According to Daily mail,the Recording Industry Association of America first revealed that the singer will be hitting the stage on their official Twitter page on sunday.''I's true,Taylor Swift will return to the Grammy stage for a perfomance at the 58th Grammys!''.USA Today has now revealed that the singer will be the show's opening act,with her first song thought to be from her album 1989.Taylor Swift us nominated fr seven Grammy Awards,including the coveted Album of The Year as well as Besr Pop Vocal Album for 1989.Her hit,Blank Space,is nominated for both Record of The Year and Song of The Year.The Last time Taylor performed at the awards show was in 2014,singing her hit,All Too Well,from her Red album.Last week,the Grammys revealed additional perfprmers including Rihanna as well as Justin Bieber,who will be performing ''Where Are U Now'' with Skrillex and Diplo.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
