 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here. U.N SECRETARY GENERAL BAN KI-MOOM,ARRIVED BURUNDI TODAY,TO PREVENT FURTHER POLITICAL CONFLICTS.

                     United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moom has arrived in Burundi to try to facilitate a deal to prevent a political conflict from escalating into a wider ethnic conflict.Burundi has been plagued by violence since April last year after President Pierre Nkurunziza declared his bid for a controversial third term in office,one which he went on to win in the July poll.More than 400 people have been killed in the violence while thousands of others have fled to neighbouring countries.The UN is under growing pressure to show it can halt the violence,two decades after the 1994 genocide of ethnic Tutsis and moderate Hutus by the Hutu majority in neighbouring Rwanda,which has a similar ethnic make-up as Burundi.More photos below.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
