 Texas man arrested with 75 pounds of marijuana in luggage while flying to London, police say A Texas man was arrested at Miami International Airport after authorities found 75 pounds of marijuana in his luggage before he could board a flight to London. Harrison O’Neill Tiernan, 23, from Austin, was charged with cannabis trafficking. He was traveling to Heathrow Airport and had checked two suitcases for his British Airways flight. Inspectors discovered 65 vacuum-sealed packages containing a green, leafy substance later confirmed to be marijuana. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers stopped Tiernan while he attempted to board the flight, and he acknowledged that the bags were his. Authorities noted the inspections were part of broader efforts at the airport due to high outbound narcotics activity. In total, Tiernan was carrying 34.01 kilograms, or 74.98 pounds, of marijuana. 150 AL-SHABAAB MILITANTS WERE KILLED,AFTER U.S AIR STRIKE IN SOMALIA ON SATURDAY.

                     On saturday,the United States launched an air strike in Somalia that killed more than 150 fighters with the al-Qaeda-linked Islamist group al-Shabaab.Using both manned aircraft and unmanned MQ-9 Reaper drones,targeted al-Shabaab's ''Raso'' training camp,a facility about 120 miles north of the capital Mogadishu.The U.S military had been monitoring the camp for several weeks before the strike and had gathered intelligence,including about an imminent threat posed by those in the camp to U.S forces and African Union Peacekeepers.U.S Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James described the strikes as ''Defensive in nature.There was intelligence..these fighters would soon be embarking upon missions that would directly impact the U.S and our Partners''.More photos below.
