 A 13-year-old boy lost his life after he was attacked by three large dogs while riding his bicycle. This tragic incident occurred January 3rd on the 100 block of Upper Sandy Cove Road in Welshtown, Nova Scotia, Canada.  On that day, 13-year-old Drew Nickerson, was enjoying the day by riding his bike through the neighborhood. As Drew rode his bike down the road, two large Cane Corsos and a Rottweiler came running out into the road from a nearby residence. The three dogs then began to viciously attack Drew. The attack left the young boy bleeding in the roadway and suffering from serious injuries.  Upon discovering Drew severely injured in the roadway, one of the owners of the dogs loaded Drew into their vehicle and rushed him to a nearby hospital.  Drew was then airlifted to a hospital in Halifax, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries on January 5th. 5 PEOPLE DEAD TODAY AFTER AN ETHNIC FIGHT IN MILE 12 MARKET,LAGOS.

                 Today thursday,at least five people were killed in an ethnic tussle at the popular Mile 12 market in Lagos.The clash which grounded business activities and hampered traffic flow for over three hours reportedly started on wednesday night.Several persons including police officers were also injured,just as buildings were razed.The trouble started today thurday morning after members of the Hausa community in the market stormed the Agiliti area to avenge the death of a motorcyclist.Sources claimed that the unnamed motorcyclist was assaulted with a cutlass by a Youruba man and he died today morning.The deceased Hausa man had an altercation with hoodlums and as he tried to drive off,he unknowingly hit the woman.And following his refusal to part with ticket money,he was allegedly beaten up by the hoodlums who saw the accident as an opportunity to strike.But the news of his death today thursday morning allegedly reignited the fight with some mercenaries imported through the PSP truck.Vehicles were vandalised,shops looted as people rushed into moving vehicles just to leave the scene of the crisis because some young men were carrying away rams whose owners have fled to safety,while others armed with bottles,cutlasses and sticks took over the entire road.Firemen trying to put of an inferno were stopped by the hoodlums.It took the intervention of soldiers who came to the area in three vans before peace could be restored to the area.One more photo below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
