 “We Don’t Want Violent Politics In Kaduna,” Group Tells Political Parties, Urges Them to Call Supporters To Order The Kaduna Peace Ambassadors Forum has called on political parties in Kaduna State to caution their supporters and prevent further violence following recent clashes involving members of major political parties in the state. The group said Kaduna had enjoyed relative peace for a long period and should not return to an era of violent politics. In a statement, the forum expressed concern that political disagreements and clashes in the past had sometimes escalated into religious conflicts, with consequences for communities across the state. It therefore called on security agencies to take appropriate measures to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the recent clashes, while strengthening preventive measures to avoid a recurrence. AFTER A HOT PURSUIT,THE NIGERIAN POLICE IN BENUE ARRESTED SOME HOODLUMS & RECOVERED SOME GUNS.

                 On the 1st of March,2016 at 9pm,upon information received that some hoodlums has concluded plans to rob unsuspecting motorists along Gboko/Buruku Road Benue State on the 1st of March by 7aam,the Police operatives positioned themselves strategically and at about 8am of date,the hoodlums arrived and four suspects were immediately arrested by personnel after a hot pursuit by police.Items recovered include,one Toyota Corolla car,one AK-47 rifle,four rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition,one locally made pistol and three rounds of 9mm ammunition.Information indicates that the gang is behind the current robberies in Buruku axis.Investigation is still in progress.One more photo below.
