  A 23-year-old Nigerian woman identified as Osarugbe, has died in Libya. African beauty products   She passed away at about 11:33am on Friday, April 4, 2025 after battling illness.    Anti-human trafficking advocate, Yakubu Oyiza and her team had been raising money to bring her back to Nigeria for better medical treatment as hospitals in Libya rejected her.    According to Oyiza, documents for burial, autopsy, and land to bury her in Libya have been arranged, all costing approximately 350,000.   She alleged that the family abandoned her since she fell sick and had earlier refused to go to Kano and pick her up the day she was supposed to be brought back to Nigeria.    In a Facebook post on Saturday, April 5, Oyiza revealed that some family members of the deceased called them asking for Osas’ properties. AFTER A HOT PURSUIT,THE NIGERIAN POLICE IN BENUE ARRESTED SOME HOODLUMS & RECOVERED SOME GUNS.

                 On the 1st of March,2016 at 9pm,upon information received that some hoodlums has concluded plans to rob unsuspecting motorists along Gboko/Buruku Road Benue State on the 1st of March by 7aam,the Police operatives positioned themselves strategically and at about 8am of date,the hoodlums arrived and four suspects were immediately arrested by personnel after a hot pursuit by police.Items recovered include,one Toyota Corolla car,one AK-47 rifle,four rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition,one locally made pistol and three rounds of 9mm ammunition.Information indicates that the gang is behind the current robberies in Buruku axis.Investigation is still in progress.One more photo below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
