 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. ESE ORURU,IS DISCOVERED TO BE 5 MONTHS PREGNANT TODAY.

                                                    According to sources,14 year old Ese Rita Oruru was discovered to be about 5 months pregnant  and the white Hijab dress she wore on her arrival from Kano yesterday tuesday was used to cover the pregnancy even though her physical condition and looks created a suspicion.Based on these new development,the Bayelsa Born Ese could be handed over to the Gender and Child Protection Unit.Upon certifying her medical status and emotional state,it was gathered that the Inspector of General of Police feeling uncomfortable with the road transport arrangement of the mother after they were re-united.The Police IGP directed that both Ese and Her mother be flown to Yenegoa by air.Ese was Kidnapped from Balyesa by one Yunusa Dahiru to Kano and after she was re-united to her family,Yunusa will be moved to Yengoa to face interrogation and prosecution for kidnapping and child abuse as well as violence against a girl child,in which the Minister initially said she will take up the matter.More photos below.
