 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. GUNMEN ATTACKED A POLICE STATION AND A BANK,YESTERDAY IN BAYELSA STATE.

Militants sack police station in Bayelsa                                                           Suspected armed militants launched an attack on a police station and a branch of the United Bank for Africa {UBA} in Amasoma,Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.It was gathered that the gang of militants stormed the community through the waterways at about 1am yesterday friday.Shortly after arriving on a speedboat,they were said to have moved straight to the police station located in the area and engaged the police in a gun duel.The bandits who reportedly overpowered the policemen,carted away arms and ammunition from the police station.The rampaging armed robbers later visited the UBA branch with rage shooting sporadically and creating panic among residents.It was gathered that the militants threw dynamites and other explosives at the bank to create access to the banking hall.After blowing off the fence of the bank,the hoodlums were said to have tried in vain to enter the bank..One more photo below.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
