 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. GUNMEN ATTACKED A POLICE STATION AND A BANK,YESTERDAY IN BAYELSA STATE.

Militants sack police station in Bayelsa                                                           Suspected armed militants launched an attack on a police station and a branch of the United Bank for Africa {UBA} in Amasoma,Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.It was gathered that the gang of militants stormed the community through the waterways at about 1am yesterday friday.Shortly after arriving on a speedboat,they were said to have moved straight to the police station located in the area and engaged the police in a gun duel.The bandits who reportedly overpowered the policemen,carted away arms and ammunition from the police station.The rampaging armed robbers later visited the UBA branch with rage shooting sporadically and creating panic among residents.It was gathered that the militants threw dynamites and other explosives at the bank to create access to the banking hall.After blowing off the fence of the bank,the hoodlums were said to have tried in vain to enter the bank..One more photo below.
