Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply. NIGERIA & SWITZERLAND,HAVE SIGNED AN AGREEMENT THAT PAVES WAY FOR THE RETURN OF $300 MILLION ABACHA LOOT.

                        Vice President of Nigeria Yemi Osinbajo said yesterday tuesday that Nigeria and Switzerland have signed an agreement that paves the way for the return of more that $300 million confiscated from the family of the Nigeria's former military ruler,Sani Abacha.Laolu Akande,a spokesman for Nigerian Vice President Yemi Osinbajo,said in an emailed statement that Nigeria's attorney general signed a letter of intent,under the terms of which Switzerland will award Nigeria $321 million acquired by the Abacha family.Swiss authorities said the letter of intent was also signed by its head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs,Didier Burkhalter and marks an important step toward the return of assets monitored by the world bank.Transparency International,a corruption watchdog,has accused Abacha of stealing up to $5 billion of public money during the five years he ran Nigeria as president from 1993 until his death in 1998.More photos below.
