 PRESS RELEASE FCT POLICE RESCUE SUSPECT FROM JUNGLE JUSTICE OVER ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION OF 5 YEAR OLD CHILD. …CP FCT Condemns such acts as it delays the course of justice The FCT Police Command, on the 4th of October 2026 at approximately 02:46PM, received a distress call reporting that an unidentified adult male was being assaulted by an angry mob over an alleged attempt to abduct a child. Following receipt of the report, police operatives from Kuje Division were immediately dispatched to the scene, where one Bashir Usman was rescued from an irate mob that was about to lynch him. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect was being assaulted by the mob over allegations that he attempted to abduct a five year old child in front of her residence in Angwan Lado, Kuje Area Council of the FCT. READ SENATOR SARAKI'S STAND ON THE GEO-BILL & WHY IT SUFFERED A SET BACK.

                        Senate President Bukola Saraki,who met with Senator Biodun Olujimi and Senator Bwacha today morning before plenary to find mutual ground on GEO Bill wrote on his social media that Yesterday tuesday ''We discussed the Doimestication of the Provisions of the United Nations Convention Eliminating all forms of discrimination against women under A bill For Act To Incorporate and Enforce Certain Provisions of the United Nations Convention On The Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women-the protocol to the African Charter on Human and People's Rights on the Rights of Women in Africa,and other Matters Connected Therewith.As i said during the International Womens Day last week,i am of the opinion that there are substantial parts of the bill that are crucial to the development of our nation such as the Equal Access to Education,strengthening of the laws on Violence against Women,Ending Abduction of girls,Sustenance and Promotion of Entrepreneurship opportunities,Genger Mainstreaming  and Gender equality,female participation in governance,among others.Unfortunately,the bill suffered a slight set back because there were some parts of the Bill that some Senators disagreed with along the lines of religion and tradition.The beauty of democracy is that it gives us the opportunity to consider different opinions and this bill can still be represented and reconsidered on the floor of the Senate.I have it on good authority that Senator Biodun Olujimi who introduced this bill will reintroduce it after re-drafting that were expressed on the floor of the Senate''.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
