 How Bobrisky smuggled ATMs into Kirikiri, paid N35m to live large — Kirikiri Baale Fresh controversy has trailed the recent incarceration of popular crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, as a traditional ruler in Lagos has accused officials of the Nigerian Correctional Service of aiding the socialite’s alleged bribery scheme to secure VIP treatment during his stay in prison. The Baale of Kirikiri Town, Chief Babalola Shabi, popularly called “Baale No-Nonsense,” alleged that Bobrisky smuggled eight Automated Teller Machine cards into the Kirikiri custodial facility and used them to funnel a total of N35 million through Point of Sale operators in the area — reportedly to grease the palms of prison officials for preferential treatment. 2 PEOPLE WERE SUSPICIOUSLY KILLED/COMMITTED SUICIDE TODAY,AT TEXAS AIR BASE.

                       Two people were killed in a murder/suicide at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio today friday that triggered a 90 minute lockdown at the facility,military officials and the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said.Military officials and the Federal Bureau of Investigation said the shooting was not an act of terrorism.Both victims were men and two weapons were found at the scene,Brigadier General Robert LaBrutta,Commander,Joint Base San Antonio,told news conference,adding they were not releasing further details on the victims at this time.The Air Force Times,an independent news outlet,citing internal Pentagon communications,reported that the commanding officer of the 331st K-9 Training Squadron at the base was shot buy an airman.LaBrutta said ''This morning we received one of those calls you never want to receive.Our hearts and prayers go out to the families that are going to be affected by this tragedy''.Adding that no other victims were found.LaBrutta said that after an initial report of a shooter,security officers rushed to the scene within three minutes.Both victims were found in an office.The incident took place at the Medina annex at the facility,where dog training takes place.The Federal Bureau of Investigation was called to assist and has taken the lead in the case,the sheriff's office said.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
