 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. 2 PEOPLE WERE SUSPICIOUSLY KILLED/COMMITTED SUICIDE TODAY,AT TEXAS AIR BASE.

                       Two people were killed in a murder/suicide at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio today friday that triggered a 90 minute lockdown at the facility,military officials and the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said.Military officials and the Federal Bureau of Investigation said the shooting was not an act of terrorism.Both victims were men and two weapons were found at the scene,Brigadier General Robert LaBrutta,Commander,Joint Base San Antonio,told news conference,adding they were not releasing further details on the victims at this time.The Air Force Times,an independent news outlet,citing internal Pentagon communications,reported that the commanding officer of the 331st K-9 Training Squadron at the base was shot buy an airman.LaBrutta said ''This morning we received one of those calls you never want to receive.Our hearts and prayers go out to the families that are going to be affected by this tragedy''.Adding that no other victims were found.LaBrutta said that after an initial report of a shooter,security officers rushed to the scene within three minutes.Both victims were found in an office.The incident took place at the Medina annex at the facility,where dog training takes place.The Federal Bureau of Investigation was called to assist and has taken the lead in the case,the sheriff's office said.More photos below.
