 Texas man arrested with 75 pounds of marijuana in luggage while flying to London, police say A Texas man was arrested at Miami International Airport after authorities found 75 pounds of marijuana in his luggage before he could board a flight to London. Harrison O’Neill Tiernan, 23, from Austin, was charged with cannabis trafficking. He was traveling to Heathrow Airport and had checked two suitcases for his British Airways flight. Inspectors discovered 65 vacuum-sealed packages containing a green, leafy substance later confirmed to be marijuana. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers stopped Tiernan while he attempted to board the flight, and he acknowledged that the bags were his. Authorities noted the inspections were part of broader efforts at the airport due to high outbound narcotics activity. In total, Tiernan was carrying 34.01 kilograms, or 74.98 pounds, of marijuana. A DRIVER WAS CHARGED TO COURT TODAY,FOR KILLING A MAD WOMAN 2 DAYS AGO IN VICTORIA ISLAND LAGOS.

                         The bus driver is identified as 46 year old  Rowland Okwuidegbe,has been arrested by the police for allegedly knocking down a woman suspected to be mentally ill.The woman whose name and family details are known was usually seen appearing to be speaking to herself while roaming aroundd Victoria Island in Lagos.She was killed instantly on the night of April 4 at 9:30 pm,on Ahmadu Bello Way,Victoria Island,when a Volkswagen bus,allegedly driven by Okwuidegbe,ran into her.Passers by reported the accident to the police at the Victoria Island Division and he was arrested and arraigned today wednesday at an Igbosere Magistrates Court in Lagos.His standing trial on a charge bordering on manslaughter.While in court today,Rowland Okwuidegbe denied the charge and was granted bail in the of N500,000 with two sureties in the like sum.The sureties must be tax compliant and have verified addresses.The case was adjourned till April 20,2016 for mention.One more photo below.
