 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. A PAKISTANI & A CAMEROONIAN,WERE ARRESTED BY THE NIGERIAN IMMIGRATION ON THURSDAY IN CALABAR FOR ILLEGAL ENTERING.

                   It was reported today saturday that two illegal immigrant were arrested two days ago in Cross River by the Nigerian Immigration.The two illegal immigrants are identified as Nji Haeges-Chi from Cameroon and Shahid Mahmood a Pakistani.They both arrested by the border patrol team of the Nigeria Immigration Service on thursday at Yala Local Government Area of the state.The state Comptroller of NIS,Mrs Funke Adeuyi,made the disclosure to journalists in Calabar while parading the duo at the NIS headquarters in the state capital.''These two illegal immigrants were arrested by men of the NIS at Yala LGA of the state on March 31st.After a thorough profiling,our preliminary investigation revealed that both of them do not have the valid travelling documents to be in Nigeria.Our investigation also revealed that the Pakistani national was smuggled into Nigeria by his Cameroonian accomplice and as it concerns security,the intention of the Pakistani and his Cameroonian accomplice is threatening and we must further check them accordingly.No incriminating evidence were found on both of them.We will do a thorough search to ensure they are not in any wanted list of any country,we must still subject them to further security investigation to ensure that they are not wanted somewhere before sending them back to their countries''.One more photo below.
