 ASUU–ABSU SUSPENDS THREE-WEEK-OLD INDEFINITE STRIKE The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Abia State University Branch, wishes to inform the University community, all stakeholders and the general public that, following the resolution of Congress held today, Friday, 28th August, 2026, the Branch has suspended its three-week-old comprehensive industrial action with immediate effect. The decision of Congress followed a careful assessment of developments since the commencement of the strike and, particularly, the concrete steps taken towards addressing some of the major issues that necessitated the industrial action. Foremost among these is the full implementation of the 2025 FGN–ASUU salary structure, including the Consolidated Academic Tools Allowance (CATA), which has now been reflected in the August 2026 salaries of academic staff of Abia State University. COURT ADJOURNS MURTALA NYAKO'S TRIAL TO MAY 6.

                The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC on friday,April 22, 2016 presented its fifth witness in the ongoing trial of a former governor of Adamawa State,Murtala Nyako,his son,Senator Abdul-Aziz Nyako,Abubakar Aliyu and Zulkifikk Abba.Nyako and the others are standing trial before Justice E.Chukwu of the Federal High Court,Abuja in a 37 count charge bordering on criminal conspiracy,stealing,abuse of office and money laundering to the tune of N29 billion preferred against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC.They are alleged to have at various times between 2011 and 2013,used five companies-Blue Opal Nigeria limited,Serore Farms & Extension Limited,Pagoda Fortunes Limited,Towers Assets Management Limited and Crust Energy Limited to commit the fraud..One more photo below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
