 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. INDIA ACTRESS PRATYUSHA BANERJEE,COMMITTED SUICIDE YESTERDAY IN HER FLAT.

                  According to sources,Indian actress Pratyusha Banerjee,who shot to fame for her role as Anandi in ''Balika Vadhu'',committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan at her Goregaon residence yesterday friday.She was 24 years old and her fiance actor/producer Rahul Raj,found her hanging around 5 pm and informed her uncle.She was rushed to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Andheri where doctors pronounced her dead informed the police.Though no suicide note was found from her flat but sources claimed that she set to be married to her fellow actor fiance when trouble brewed between them which led to her taking her own life.Nawahoo.More photos below.
