 AG Moves to Decongest  Anambra Correctional Centres as Controller of Corrections Pays Visit. By Chinelo Okeke The Anambra State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Tobechukwu Nweke SAN, has reiterated his commitment to decongest correctional centres across the state through speedy dispensation of justice. Nweke made this known when the Anambra State Controller of Corrections, Ezinne Emele Onuoha, paid him a courtesy visit in his chambers at the Ministry of Justice, Awka. Speaking during the meeting, the Attorney General said many inmates remained in correctional facilities without trial, while some families were unaware of the whereabouts of their relatives in custody. He directed that a comprehensive inventory of inmates in all correctional centres in the state be compiled, especially awaiting-trial inmates, those granted bail but yet to perfect their bail conditions, those denied bail and remanded, as well as convicted persons serving various jail terms. NIGERIAN ARMY,AMBUSHED BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS ESCAPING FROM SAMBISA FOREST YESTERDAY.{PHOTOS}.

                     At the early hours of sunday the 24th of April 2016,troops of 81 Battalion and some elements of 251 Task Force Battalion,25 Brigade,ambushed suspected Boko Haram terorists escaping from Sambisa forest to Fulawani village.The Ambushed terrorists were trying to link up with other terrorists or member of their families to relocate to other places.It will be recalled that the troops intercepted a group of women and children yesterday who claimed to have escaped from the terrorists enclave in Sambisa forest.However,during screening and interrogation,it was confirmed that they were the terrorist's advance party relocating to a new safe haven following intense tactical operations by troops.The troops sprang a surprise ambush on the group of escaping terrorists from Sambisa forest crossing towards Alagamo mounted on motorcycles and bicycles,killing 5 of them and recovering a number of items.These include 5 motorcycles,9 bicycles,80 new pairs of bathroom slippers,assorted laundry items,polythene bags and mats.From all indication,the terrorists intended to link up with their wives and children earlier mentioned,who were obviously despatched to wait for them close to Fulawani for onward movement to other locations.It is also assessed that the recovered items were for sale in other locations where remnants of the terrorists were hiding but in dire need of logistics.Further investigation also revealed that the terrorists were fleeing Sambisa forest to other areas for safety as they could no longer withstand the continued bombardment by both Nigerian Air Force and the ground troops.-Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman,Acting Director Army Public Relations.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
