 MISSING CHILDREN SAFELY RETURNED TO WANNUNE AFTER ABDUCTION ATTEMPT Relief and jubilation swept through the IF Academy settlement in Wannune, Tarka LGA of Benue State, as children who went missing last October have been safely reunited with their families.   According to Timothy Chusa, who reported the incident to Benue Info-pedia, the children were taken by a Tiv girl to Nasarawa State, where she resides. Community members revealed that the suspect had allegedly planned to sell the children. However, before the plan could be executed, information reached Wannune, prompting swift intervention.   Faced with mounting pressure, the suspect was compelled to return the children unharmed. PRIMARY & SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN ABIA STATE,EMBARK ON A WARNING STRIKE.

                  According to sources,Primary and Secondary school teachers in Abia state have embarked on a three days warning strike to press the state government to pay them their arears of salaries ranging from three to four months.The primary school teachers in the state are being owed salary arrears from February while their counterparts in the secondary school system are owed since January.The primary and secondary schools in the state were scheduled to reopen on monday April 18,2016,but was shifted one week ahead generally believed to be delay tactics by government to enable source for funds to pay the teachers.On Monday,April 25th after one week,the schools resumed with the arrears still pending,which forced the leadership of Nigerian Union of Teachers {NUT} in the state to order the teacher to embark on a three day warning strike to press home their demand.One more photo below.
