 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. 7 DAYS AFTER THE KENYAN BUILDING COLLAPSE,THE DEATH TOLL HAS REACHED 42 TODAY.

                     Today friiday according to the Kenya police,the death toll from the colapse of a building in the Kenyan capital a week ago has reached 42.Rescue workers have been pulling bodies from heaps of shattered and twisted concrete at the site in Nairobi's Huruma district since the multi-storey residential structure came down during torrential rain.On thursday four people were pulled out alive.Japheth Koome,Nairobi police commander told pressmen that ''140 people have so far been rescued alive after the building collapsed seven days ago''.Kenyan police detained two brothers who owned the building and three local government officials for questioning but they have since been released on bail and are yet to be charged with any crime.Their Interior Ministry has said the building,built close to a river,had been earmarked for demolition,but local authorities had not acted on the order.More photos below.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
