 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration. A MAN FROM NIGER REPUBLIC,WAS ARRESTED BY THE EFCC ON FRIDAY WITH 130 ATM CARDS,ON HIS WAY TO CHINA FROM KANO.{PHOTO}.

                                           The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC is currentlyy investigating a case of ATM racketeering involving one Muhammadou Ibrahim who was arrested while on transit to China for carrying 130 {one hundred and thirty} Automated Teller Machine,ATM Cards of two different Nigerian banks and a Chinese bank,concealed in a carton of Cherie instant noodles.The suspect was nabbed at the Mallam Aminuu Kano International Airport,Kano.Upon being interviewed,he claimed to be a Nigerien with passport No. 09PC71337,bearing Muhammadou Ibrahim.However,Preliminary investigation revealed that Muhammadou is a businessman that deals in costume jewelry at the Kasuwan Kofar Wambai market in Kano.The suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
