  Tragedy Strikes As Promising Councillor Hon. Chukwuma Okpalauzuegbu Is Laid To Rest On Intended wedding Day  By Charity Ejiofor  A day that was meant to mark a joyful union has instead become one of deep sorrow for family, friends, and the Aguata community, following the sudden passing of Hon. Chukwuma Christopher Okpalauzuegbu, the councillor representating Amesi Ward. Hon. Okpalauzuegbu fondly known as Chuma, had been preparing to celebrate his wedding ceremony, an event filled with hope, promise and carefully laid plans. Loved ones, and sponsors, ready to stand beside him as he embark on a new chapter of life. In an unexpected and heart breaking turn of events, those dreams were cut short. A MAN FROM NIGER REPUBLIC,WAS ARRESTED BY THE EFCC ON FRIDAY WITH 130 ATM CARDS,ON HIS WAY TO CHINA FROM KANO.{PHOTO}.

                                           The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC is currentlyy investigating a case of ATM racketeering involving one Muhammadou Ibrahim who was arrested while on transit to China for carrying 130 {one hundred and thirty} Automated Teller Machine,ATM Cards of two different Nigerian banks and a Chinese bank,concealed in a carton of Cherie instant noodles.The suspect was nabbed at the Mallam Aminuu Kano International Airport,Kano.Upon being interviewed,he claimed to be a Nigerien with passport No. 09PC71337,bearing Muhammadou Ibrahim.However,Preliminary investigation revealed that Muhammadou is a businessman that deals in costume jewelry at the Kasuwan Kofar Wambai market in Kano.The suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.
