AKPABIO URGES SOUTH EAST TO SHUN ARMED STRUGGLE, EMBRACE PEACE FOR DEVELOPMENT. (PHOTO).

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has appealed to the people of the South East to sustain peace and prevent their youth from engaging in armed struggle against the Federal Government. Akpabio made the plea on Saturday during the funeral of Sir Albert Ikechukwu Nnamani, former Administrative Secretary of the defunct Oil Mineral Producing Area Development Commission (OMPADEC), held in Ikem, Enugu State. In a statement made available to journalists in Abuja, Akpabio emphasised that development can only thrive in a peaceful atmosphere and urged Ndigbo to properly mentor the younger generation. “For Ndigbo, I want to plead with you to continue to maintain the peace and watch the youth of today. They don’t understand politics. They don’t understand development. You can only have development in an area of peace,” Akpabio said.                        Governor Ambode,yesterday sunday,celebrated Democracy Day with Physically Challenged Persons at the Lagos House,Ikeja.But before then,the Governor with his wife,Bolanle and other dignitaries attended a Thanksgiving Service in Commemoration of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode's First Year in Office at the Chapel of Christ The Light,Alausa,Ikeja.Governor Ambode who spoke during the thanksgiving service,said his election despite many challenges,was a clear indication that God was involved right from the beginning and as such he would continue to draw strength and inspiration from the Almighty.''Exactly a year ago today,i stood before a large congregation trying to commit myself to the opportunity that you gave me to serve you and i have tried as much as possible not to misplace that opportunity.I just want to thank everybody for believing in me.When i became a politician,i used to call myself a techno-politician,that is a technocrat and a politician.I never believed that i could ever survive up till this moment if not for the grace of God.I believe so much that this is an assignment from God that is why i am doing it with all my totality and give back to humanity.God has been too kind to me and for that reason,i have decided that i will serve the people selflessly to the will of God''.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
