 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.                     Today wednesday,Baroness Scotland was received by The Queen of England at the Buckingham Palace,on her appointment as Commonwealth Secretary-General.Patricia Scotland will be the sixth Commonwealth Secretary-General and the first woman to take up this post.The Queen is the Head of the Commonwealth,a voluntary association of 53 independent countries.As Head,Her Majesty personally reinforces the links by which the Commonwealth joins people together from around the world.Then earlier this week Prince Harry was in Toronto to officially launch the third Invictus Games which will take place in September 2017.We'er thrilled that the Invictus story will continue and that even more wounded,injured and sick Servicemen and women will have the chance to use sport as part of their recovery.More photos below.
