Military judge suppresses Khalid Sheikh Mohammed’s FBI confession in 9/11 case A military judge has excluded a confession that alleged Sept. 11 attacks mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed gave to FBI agents nearly 20 years ago, ruling that the statements were not made voluntarily. The decision is a setback for the U.S. government's long-running effort to prosecute Mohammed, who is accused of helping develop the plot to hijack planes and crash them into the World Trade Center and Pentagon. Mohammed remains detained at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, alongside other defendants awaiting trial. Lt. Col. Michael Schrama, the judge overseeing the case, scheduled a June 2028 trial for Mohammed and three other defendants earlier this week. Today wednesday,the Federal Government,approved the increase of Premium Motor Spirit {PMS} normally referred to as petrol to be sold not more than N145 per litre effective from 11th May,2016.The PPPRA will accordingly announce the new price.The product was seling for N86.50 per litre.The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources,Ibe Kachikwu disclosed this to State House correspondent at the Presidential Villa,Abuja.He said that the decision was reached at a meeting of stakeholders presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and attended by the Leadership of the Senate,House of Representatives,Governors Forum,and Labour Unions {NLC,TUC,NUPENG,and PENGASSAN}.The new pump price,Kachikwu said,was to ensure increased and stabilize quantity of the product in the country.The meeting also approved all oil marketers to import PMS into the country.One more photo below.
